20.12.2004 - Pillow Fatality
Regular readers may have noticed that the blant entries of late have become somewhat repetitive and samey. Smarter folk may have realised that I haven't posted anything new in quite a while. I've come out of retirement to share something rad.I did this. It was strange and wonderful. My feeling is that there should have been a time limit as with other flash mob events so that it didn't end up being an opportunity for chavs to "get some girls" (actual quote, and by "get" they meant hurt). Seeing one of them beaten off by an irate female with a pillow full of PMS did amuse though.
DD took some photos (full res here) for me (as I was too busy being beaten senseless with blows to the head to photo-document the event myself). I looked up the organiser's whois record to send him the link and it turns out that I used to work in the office opposite him until a couple of years ago.
The highlight for me would have to be the lunatic running down the middle of the crowed screaming "can't we all just get along!?" whilst delivering pillow death from behind.
