23.05.03 - Seanbaby on the Bog
Last night I had an idea which made me more excited than a person who was already pretty damned excited about something anyway but has now been injected with the drug Excitocrone and is probably out of control! excited. I'm pretty Goddamn excited. This idea, will allow me to do something I've only been able to dream of up until now; to read Internet humour sites on the toilet. You may be wondering why I have dreams about reading Internet humour sites on the toilet. Well I can't really answer that but it does explain a different question; why I'm afraid to go to sleep.All I need is a Wi-Fi station downstairs connected to my hub and a cheap PDA. I'm thinking about getting a Zaurus so I can put cool stuff like ssh and that on it - come on, I know you too have always dreamt about being at work whilst simultaneously taking a dump - argh, more bad dreams! Think about it, this is what the Internet was made for, this is the aspirations of all those DARPA boys met.
boy1: Wow this Wide Area "Network" thing is amazing. So you're saying that if any of these nodes get blown up by those pesky Russians then we will still be able to communicate through these other nodes. Incredible, a near indestructible network of computers. Think of the possibilities!Now finally, boy2's dreams can be fulfilled. He truly deserves it, I mean Jeez, he must have got a lot of stick at school with that crappy name; "Heh, boy2, that rhymes with ... ... ... I'm just going to get to the part where I beat you unmerciful like kay?", at least something should go right for him. Not that I'm going to try and contact him though, I mean he's probably old and demented by now, and no one likes to be around old people.

boy2: Sorry.

Another cool thing is going to be the fact that I'll be able to walk around London with this PDA and just pick up open nodes, just by flipping out the PDA, like Goddamn Captain Kirk or something. ... damn I'm a geek.
